Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with OKOMOYA Wellness. Please read our shipping policy carefully so you know what to expect when your order is on its way to you.

1.  Order Processing Time                                      

Once payment is confirmed, your order will be packed and handed to our courier within 2–3 business days. We do not process orders on weekends or South African public holidays.

Timeframes are estimates from the date of dispatch and are subject to courier operational conditions. Delivery times do not include the 2–3 business day processing period. During sale periods (e.g. Black Friday, promotional events), processing may take 3–5 business days due to higher order volumes. We will communicate any extended timelines via email.

3.  Packaging

We take care to package all orders securely to minimise the risk of damage in transit. Fragile items such as crystal products and incense burners are individually wrapped. If you receive a damaged parcel, please photograph the packaging and contents before use and contact us within 24 hours.

4.  Parcel Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking number to become active on the courier's system.

5.  Parcel Insurance

Optional parcel insurance is available at checkout. We strongly recommend adding insurance for high-value orders. OKOMOYA Wellness exercises reasonable care in courier selection and packaging; however, once the parcel is in the courier's possession, claims for loss or damage must be directed to the courier. We will assist you in facilitating such claims.

6.  Shipping Fee Adjustments

If there is a significant discrepancy between the shipping fee charged at checkout and the actual courier rate - due to volumetric weight, remote location, or other factors - we will contact you before dispatching your order with a revised quotation. You may accept the revised fee or cancel your order for a full refund.

7.  Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by courier operations, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any known delays affecting your order as soon as possible. We do not offer refunds based solely on courier delays; however, if a parcel is confirmed lost by the courier, we will work with you to find a resolution.

8.  Returns

Please refer to our Refund Policy for information on returns for incorrect or defective items.
